LimeStaff Caching System Guide
Overview
LimeStaff’s caching system optimizes performance by temporarily storing job data synced from Loxo to your WordPress site. This ensures faster page loads and reduces strain on Loxo APIs. However, cached data refreshes at intervals, which may delay updates. Below is a detailed guide to managing this system.
How Caching Works
- Purpose:
- Improves site speed by reducing repeated API calls to Loxo.
- Prevents server overload and potential downtime.
- Default Behavior:
- Jobs are cached for 24 hours (configurable).
- Changes made in Loxo reflect on your WordPress site after the cache refreshes.
Manual Cache Refresh
Force an immediate update of job listings:
- Log in to your WordPress admin dashboard.
- Navigate to LimeStaff in the top admin bar.
- Click “Delete All Cached Jobs”.
- Reload your site to view updated listings.

Note: Manual refreshes do not affect candidate applications or other site data.
Adjusting Cache Duration
To change how often LimeStaff auto-refreshes jobs:
- Go to Settings > LimeStaff > Caching Settings in WordPress.
- Locate Select Job Refresh Time.
- Modify the interval (e.g., 15 minutes for near-real-time updates).
- Click Submit.

Troubleshooting
Issue: Changes from Loxo are not visible on the site.
- Solution:
- Clear the cache manually (see Manual Cache Refresh).
- Confirm Loxo API credentials are valid in Settings > API Settings.
